This luxuriously soft cotton chenille wrap over robe has a beautiful set-in belt that is sewn into the robe (shown above) - a unique feature of chenille robes which will nip in the waist when tied and give the wearer a more flattering shape whilst ensuring that the belt will never get lost. Another unique feature is the intricate tufted scroll detailing on both the belt and sleeves, where swirls are raised up from the main body of the chenille robe in the same material to give a beautiful effect.

Our classic button front closure cotton chenille robe is a perennial favourite of ours and our customers. The button front design keeps to wearer warm, while the breathable cotton keeps the wearer comfortable.
The main body of this robe is in a special wide rib design, which gives a very subtle slimming effect. The collar and cuffs are made in cotton chenille, to give a contrast effect.

Zip Robe With Hood In Exclusive Speckle Chenille
This hood zip chenille robe has more contemporary styling.
The chenille cloth used has been especially developed by us to give a speckle effect. There is white yarn amongst the predominently black pile, this is an effect which can only be achieved on chenille.
My partner is always complaining about her head getting cold, after a shower, so for those who feel the same, the robe has a hood.
In the image this dressing gown is shown as two tone, but we are now manufacturing this in plain black and plain moonshine, in response to customer feedback
The robe also have a open end zip and two oversized pockets.

| About Us Kinnaird was established in Ireland by the Kinnaird family in the early 1900's. The main business was, as it is now, the manufacture of a special type of cloth often known as candlewick. Which through our special manufacturing process was transformed into a much finer cloth known as chenille. The chenille was then used by us to manufacture robes, bedding and home textiles. To ensure the quality of these products they were all stitched first and then the product was dyed the desired colour. This gave the finished item a very soft feel, as well as colour which could not and still cannot be matched by mass manufacturing. Through the Kinnaird family's dedication and the skills of the workforce, the Kinnaird company prospered. Every year more and more people were introduced to Kinnaird products. The company even joined the war effort, producing blankets at a time when they were needed the most. As our reputation spread around the world, the most renowned retailers beat a path to our door. In the UK this included Marks & Spencer, The John Lewis Partnership, Debenhams, The House Of Fraser, and many more some of whom are still trading, some have been aquired and some are sadly no longer with us. Internationally there are too many names to mention from Roches in Ireland, Nordstrom in the US, to KaDeWe Germany, our products went all over the world. Chenille Is 100% Cotton? Chenille is a tufted cloth and has a base cloth with a textured pile. This basically means that the underside of the cloth is flat soft cotton, whereas the topside has a soft cotton pile which when touched your fingers sink into. This is acheived through are specialist machinery, which is exclusive to us. The fact that we dye stitched products and not cloth also helps. Chenille is 100% cotton and can be worn straight from the shower, it will not leave moisture on the wearer skin as polyester does. Also being a cotton, chenille is breathable which helps prevent perspiration, unlike polyester which is not breathable and often causes perspiration. Kinnaird On The Internet? All the items here are high quality Kinnaird products, which do not fit into today's high street criteria of low quality mass production. The internet has allowed us to reach like minded individuals who still value quality products and do not want to buy products made in countries that have no respect for basic human rights. This site has been set up in response to customers saying that they would like to buy Kinnaird items, but can no longer find them on the high street. | Shipping And Handling Delivery options withing the USA International Delivery - This is charged at $10 per order. Delivery times within the USA are usualy 7-15 working days from despatch if we have your required size, colour and style in stock. Priority International Courier - This is charged at $30 per order. Delivery times wihin the USA are usually 5 working days from desptach if we have your required size, colour and style in stock. Delivery time can take up to 30 days from despatch if the robe or bed jacket has to be made to your requirements. All our robes and bed jackets are made using traditional methods and not mass produced factory products. These are indicated delivery times and actual times may vary. Please note we can only deliver to the billing address of the card used to make payment. | Returns Policy We offer a refund or exchange policy for all of our goods returned in a as new perfect condition within 14 days of reciept . All refunds attract a $10 restocking charge. If you are unhappy with your order in any way please let us know, we may be able to help. Remember you must obtain an RMA number before sending any items back. Also the parcel will need to clearly be marked RETURNS. Please see below for full return criteria and procedures. No items should be returned before contacting us. Returns Criteria We will refund or exchange items, but only when the item is in a unworn brand new condition in original packaging with all the original labels intact, worn items will not be exchanged ir refunded. You have a 'duty of care' over the garments until they are returned to us, you will also have to pay the costs of returning the goods to us and to take reasonable care to see they are received by us without delay. Where the item is returned to us in a used condition we will not issue a refund. Any items that have been worn, washed, marked, affected by odours including cigarette smoke, had any tags removed or are not in the original packaging are non-returnable. If you are unsure of sizing please contact us by email before placing your order or come and see us (if appropriate).. Please make your choice carefully as online card processing is expensive. Time Limitations Goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt, for an exchange or refund, subject to the above criteria. The date of receipt is defined as the date the item arrived at your requested delivery address. To clarify, if you are unavailable to take delivery of the item and the parcel is taken to your local sorting office for collection, the 14 day period commences from the original day delivery was attempted. If there is no Returns Merchandise Authorisation number ("RMA") on the outside of the package then there is a good chance that this will lead to delays of upto 30 days in processing your return. To avoid this delay, we recommend that if you wish to return goods you first obtain a RMA number. As soon as we receive your returned goods we will process your request.
